The tourist village Sabunike is situated 22 km from Zadar in the vicinity of the Croatian Royal City of Nin. It derives its name from the Dalmatian word “sabun” which means sand. It is one of the most famous elite seaside resorts, known for its long sandy beaches, surf-boarding and, of course, the warm clean water. On the coast of a nearby beach you can find healing mud Peloid which also makes the location attractive and interesting for people with health problems. The sand beaches cover an area of over 15 km, starting from the oldest Croatian City of Nin over Sabunike to the island of Vir. In the area you find warm, shallow and long beach lagoons set apart from the roads and city jams. The shallow water and retraction of the coastal line ensure that the water temperature is some 2-3 º C higher than open sea temperature and thus you can already enjoy a comforting swim in May and June. The water temperature during summer rises to 22-27 º C. Children can be left to carefree swim and play in the warm sand. They will also enjoy building sand castles and other buildings, looking for sea shells, treecreepers, stars, sea souvenirs etc. The suitable wind coming down from Mount Velebit is perfect for wind-surfers, who have recently started to discover the value of this location more and more. Even during the hottest of summers the smooth breeze tames the high temperatures and reduces the humidity, which children and older people will find especially relaxing. The evening hours you can spend at restaurants, pizza places, pastry shops, taking beach strolls or walks through the pine wood forest, or by enjoying the silence under a star lit sky. In the village you can also find a supermarket, market, butcher, bakery, pastry shop, Tourist Office and entertainment centre for children. Our apartment is situated in the centre of Sabunike so you will not find it hard to manage. The apartment is some hundred meters from the beach and hence you will be able to take a swim or perhaps go sailing whenever you like! ____ _____ ____ The apartment is found in the
second floor of a weekend house and is accessible via separate
staircase. 4-6 people can have a comfortable stay. The apartment houses
a spacious living room which has all the necessary living room furniture
(table, couch) plus a TV set and additional couchette. The kitchen is
completely equipped with utensils for cooking and eating. The apartment
has two bedrooms, a larger one with a balcony and a smaller one. The
bedrooms have, of course, all the necessary linens. The bathroom is also
nicely decorated with a washing machine. In front of the apartment there
is a large yard and during your stay with us you will always have
guaranteed parking. In addition we offer a volley-ball court and grill
facilities.
